McComas is the Senior Editor for Gadget Gurus.com and a regular
columnist in several new media and travel magazines. After co-founding
two successful computer companies in the early 80s, Rich became a
full-time industry commentator and has provided press coverage for
nearly every CES (and Comdex) since the inception of the industry. 
Ron
Rosberg's "gadget guy" broadcasts are heard by millions of listeners
syndicated on dozens of the nations leading
news-talk radio stations. Ron has appeared on dozens of different
radio and television programs since 1984 and is a past president of the
Telecommunications Dealer Association. 
Richard Lee has been covering desktop and portable computing plus software and component technologies since 1999. Although primarily focussed on the personal computing space, Richard also writes about enterprise and networking technology topics for Gadget Gurus. 
Michael Todd has been covering gaming and personal computer technologies for Gadget Gurus since 2001. Michael covers interactive toys and video game products developed for the major gaming platforms and home entertainment consoles, and is one of the earliest to cover online gaming and role-playing environments. 
Bert McComas is Gadget Gurus chip guy, one of the few people in the whole world who really
knows what those bits are doing whirling around inside black slates of
silicon. After an executive career in integrated circuits marketing,
Bert has become a leading market researcher in the semiconductor field
and a favorite keynoter at chip design conferences. 
Martin Scott covers mobile electronics technologies for our online and print media,
including aftermarket mobile electronics, car audio, personal
navigation (GPS), telematics, and embedded vehicle technologies. Martin
contributes to a variety of automotive industry magazines and authority
websites. 
Destin
Swartz is a writer and radio personality who presents gadget reviews
covering early adopter consumer technologies, especially digital video
and imaging. Destin manages the Gadget Gurus Testing Lab, and he is
the primary contact on all digital video, digital imaging, sound, and

TECH2 LAKE HOUSE
UPDATE - The exterior of the Technology Lake House is complete and we are now working on interior finishing and electronics. Last year, San Francisco's Channel 7 ABC News ran a special video report on the construction progress of the Technology Lake House, and we expect them back for a follow-up soon. Ron Rosberg's current project home, the Technology Lake House, is currently under construction on the shores of Clearlake in Northern California. Even though the house is a wireless demo house, we have installed more than seven miles of wires in the walls for dozens of flat panel TVs, speakers, control panels, and sophisticated lighting. So far, more than a dozen technology and fixture manufacturers have agreed to sponsor this project, which has been simmering in Ron's head since he attended the first CES show in New York in 1967. The 7,500 square foot project (plus three existing rustic cabin guest houses) is being built on a five-acre Honeymoon Cove resort with 500 feet of beach directly across from Konocti Harbor Resort. This summer retreat will host technology gatherings annually, inviting Western states home builders, contractors, and technology consultants for a live open house showcasing the latest in home technologies. There is room to park plenty of boats, so plan on coming up for some lake fun after the project is complete.
